I first came to yoga at drama school where it was very much part of my training, I noticed not only the physical changes but also the mental benefits that I was experiencing. After leaving drama school and starting work as an actress I found that yoga became an anchor for me – whatever else was going on I would always come back to the mat. I decided to train to be a yoga teacher in the hope of passing on some of the benefits that I have found.
My training was with YogaLondon in Ecuador ( RYT – 200hr) which was a life changing experience. I then began working with ZeroGravity Pilates who trained me as a Reformer Pilates Instructor. I’ve since qualified as a Pre and Post Natal Yoga teacher (YogaLondon) and have found this has changed my personal practice as well as opening new doors into teaching yoga at such an important time in a woman’s life.
I am a trained actress with a BA (Hons) from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and specialise in delivering Yoga for Actors and working alongside creative professionals. In the past I have lead workshops with IdeasTap a creatives network, ‘Yoga for Actors’ being incredibly popular.
When I am not teaching or performing you might find me climbing rocks or in the audience at the theatre.
I look forward to seeing you on the mat!
